1. Data controller and data subject

Your personal data are processed in accordance with Act No 101/2000, on data protection (hereinafter the “Data Protection Act”), as amended, and with the principles of the European Union framework directives on data protection, in particular Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council. The controller and processor of personal data is Sittardia s.r.o., with its registered office at Rybná 716/24, Staré Město, 110 00 Praha 1, ID No: 25431536, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, Insert 234793 (hereinafter the “Sittardia”).

Personal data means, within the meaning of Act No 101/2000 , on data protection and amending certain acts (hereinafter the “Data Protection Act”), any information relating to an identified or identifiable data subject. A data subject shall be deemed to be identified or identifiable if the data subject can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to a number, a code or one or more factors specific to his or her physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural or social identity. A data subject within the meaning of the Data Protection Act means the natural person to whom the personal data relate.

2. Collection and processing of personal data

Sittardia s.r.o., as the personal data controller, declares that it collects personal data to the extent necessary to fulfil the stated purpose and processes it only in accordance with the purpose for which it was collected. If the purpose of the processing of personal data changes, the controller shall contact the data subject and inform him or her of this fact or request his or her consent to the processing of personal data for this new purpose. Employees of the controller are obliged to maintain confidentiality of personal data, even after termination of employment with the controller.

3. Purpose of personal data processing

We use the personal data collected for the following purposes:

  • To perform our obligations under contracts between you and us.
  • To ensure compliance with mandatory obligations under relevant laws.
  • To provide you with information, products or services that you request from us or that we think may be of interest to you, provided that you have consented to us contacting you for this purpose.
  • To enable us to keep a record of a job applicant’s details after the selection procedure for the job for which they originally applied has ended, so that we can contact them in the future if another position becomes available for which they would be a suitable candidate.

Consent to the processing of personal data

We may process personal data on the basis of the consent given by the data subject, except in situations provided for by law where consent is not required.

For example, if the selection procedure for which a job applicant originally applied is terminated and that applicant is not selected, the original purpose that authorised Sittardia s.r.o. to store and process the applicant’s personal data has been lost. If the data controller wishes to continue to record the applicant’s personal data, it must ask the applicant for consent to the processing of personal data. This consent must be a free and voluntary expression of will. The data subject, i.e. the job applicant, grants this consent for the necessary period of time.
