A very popular board material consists of a polyurethane core covered on both sides with a layer of white chromate board. The material has a very low weight and is therefore safe to hang. It can be easily formatted manually or with a jigsaw. It is also suitable for cutting and shape cutting on a board plotter. The individual boards can be glued in the surface and on the edges using double-sided adhesive tape, hot melt glue and paper glue. Due to its properties, the material is suitable for creating 3D models by layering or bending using a V-groove. A large number of components and accessories are available, which facilitates the final processing or installation (eg slats, hooks, etc.).

Warnings and recommendations

If the film is laminated on one side to the entire surface, there is a risk of the board bending. For this reason, we recommend laminating both sides. The outer layers of chromato cardboard are not waterproof and are not evidenced by the high relative humidity of the environment. Internal polyurethane foam shows signs of water absorption only in the cut.
