Magnetic foil with a lacquered surface is suitable for short-term advertising messages. Application is only possible on flat, smooth metal surfaces, which must be thoroughly cleaned before application. The print can be laminated to protect it from mechanical damage. The film can be very easily applied and removed without damaging the surface. It is suitable for shape cutting. It does not contain any plasticizers and therefore cannot dry out and become brittle. Overall, it is designed to serve for years, with minimal maintenance required.

Notice and recommendations

The adhesion of a magnetic foil depends on its thickness, but also on the metal substrate and the strength of the paint. If the surface is not completely metallic (eg it has a very thick layer of varnish or is glued), it is advisable to use another material. The following instructions must be observed during application. Prior to installation, the film must be at room temperature to achieve elasticity. The foil is applied gradually and pressed against the surface with gentle pressure. Moisture condenses between the magnetic foil and the substrate, so it is recommended to remove the foil from the substrate at least once a week and wipe the magnet and the substrate dry. The surface can be cleaned with warm water with a little detergent or soap.

By laminating the magnetic foil with a writable lamination, a material for the production of writable magnets is created. This product is available in the Jumbox main product range.
